Jazz Fest weekend is the most wonderful time of the year! Hands down. The city is just good for your soul. The music is — of course — the best around, the city is beautiful, and the rules are loose, but no NOLA conversation is complete without discussing the food. It’s not so gentle on your waistline, but this is not a city for diets — go big or go home.

 

I’ve been three times, and no matter how hard I try to go to new places (hello there, Bon Appetit!), I can’t seem to stay away from the same, tried & true spots. In no particular order…
